Ruins of the Franciscan Friary
Abbey Abbey Street, Wicklow Town. Originally constructed in mid 13th century by the Norman family, the Fitzgerald's. Confiscated in 1552 during the reign of King Edward (post Henry VIII). Returned to the Parish of Wicklow by Earl Fitzwilliam in 1799.
